Examplify is a secure exam delivery platform created by ExamSoft. How Does Examplify Work?
Examplify works in two phases:
Before the exam: You download the Examplify application and then download your specific exam file within a window set by your school (typically 48–72 hours before the exam). The exam file is encrypted and cannot be opened until you enter your exam password.
During the exam: You launch Examplify, enter your password, and the exam begins. The software immediately locks your computer — blocking all other applications, the browser, and internet access. It simultaneously activates your webcam and microphone for continuous recording and begins capturing your screen and keystrokes.
What Does Examplify Monitor?
- Full computer lockdown — blocks all apps, browsers, and internet on your exam device
- Webcam recording — records your face for the entire exam duration
